Honestly the calibration should be done just like a joystick. The 0 and 100 position right on target

What you can do to regulate the wah the way you want it is connecting your Floor Pod Plus to the pc with the vysex software and mess with the wah setting there because you'll find it to be the best way to go around it.

If you try and calibrate the pedal just thinking of it as a wah you might end up with the volume pedal setting not working so hot.

I don't know if this will go in time but here I go:

so you want the volume range to be 50-100 instead of 0-100 is that it?

Well I think you can accomplish this because from my understanding, what the A B and C buttons do during calibration is tell via software the position of the expression pedal.

i.e: when you put the pedal in the toe position and press A (or B i don't remember right now) it sends the information that the pedal is in the maximum toe position.

you might be able to play around with this and "fool" the pedalboard.

another way you could accomplish other depth and volume on the expression pedal is change those settings on the Vysex software. This way it won't mess with the calibration of the pedal itself and it won't mess with your wah (if you use it)

hope this helps

Vysex and USB To MIDI Cable Issue

Re: Floor Pod Plus Muddy sound

last night I managed to get some sweet rythm distortion sounds of it. My clean settings and solo settings all sounded great but what was happening was that I had little to no presence on some presets, and the the clean channel of the amp I was using, was causing some issues to but I think I managed to fix it because now everything sounds right to my ears.

What are you connecting your Floor POD+ to?

Settings for the POD:

If you are using an amp just like I do, make sure the POD is set to the kind of amp that you have (open back, closed back, whatever it is)

check if you have the switch on the back set to the AMP position and regulate the output level properly (if 0 is muted and 10 is full blast, get it up to 7-8)

On the Amp:

make sure that you are using the most clean setting of the amp you have. You might have to plug the guitar directly to the amp and try and mix the bass, mids and treble to the right ammount so that everything sounds as even as possible. Also, remove all the reverb from your amp and get the channel volume a bit higher than 12 o'clock

I strongly advise that you get a MIDI to USB cable and use Vysex to regulate your settings. Helps a lot to really tweak the POD to your needs.

If nothing of this solves it, go to a Line 6 service point and see if they can help you out
