Behringer FCB1010 midi with POD HD Pro - question

Hi All,

As many of users of HD units I am controlling via Behringer FCB1010. I have no problem setting up the midi on the floorboard to change presets however I would like to have opportunity to use top row of pedals to turn effects ON/OFF. I have been searching internet on information how to do so but was unsuccessful do I thought to ask you guys who have experience and could point me in the right direction. I am not experienced in midi so looking for simple instructions or link where I could read more about it.

Any input of help would be greatly appreciated.

Pod HD Pro - technical issue with output

I just put in message to technical support but I would appreciate if any of your Dear users could give me some feedback on my issue which I am trying to describe below:

I run my HD Pro in Mono mode into Matrix GT800FX Power amp and than to my cab. I have had my connections unchanged, cables are the same and all has been in my rack case since new as I look after my equipment. While reharsing this weekend I have noted that there is constant buzz coming out of speakers, low sound like something is not connected. This was new to me so we have checked with my friend who owns similar gear all connections, replace cables and buzz was there. we plugged his power amp to my HD Pro and buzz was there. What I discovered is really unusual and I would like to hear what can I do from you: I run my connecttions as follow: unbalance L/Mono output into power Amp channel A, from channel A outputs onto cab. When I plugged same cable into unbalanced R/Mono output and into B channel on power amp the buzz disappeared. When I plugged both L/Mono & R/Mono into power amp the buzz disappeared. Logically it says to me there is something happenning in L/Mono output socket which I find surprising.

thanks, yes I did have a look but I guess as I am learning I cant absorb all of it will continue reading as this is very good info. in the meantime I might get quick suggestion from forum users ,cheers

I am new in the world of pod hd pro but had similar issue you descrbe above. One thing to try is to check that input and output settings are set properly and the patch you are editing/downloading has same settings.

Hello All

I have moved from rack units to pod Hd Pro and I am discovering its potential which is amazing.

However because it is such a beast I am little bit lost on how to achieve desired tone. I understand basics and created some patches but they do not sound how I desire.

So what tone/settings I am looking for?

metal tone which will sound - I think best to give example- is Korn from "Follow the leader", meaty and very heavy with punch. Sound that is selective and gives clarity without unnecessary fuzz.

My problem is with gains so far and it sounds overdrived. I am using pod hd pro in studio mode, 1M, guitar only, switch at the back is on Line.

I have created start up patches using (in order of flow) noise gate---screamer---traedplate---delay---reverb. 2nd patch is similar chain but with Fireball as an amp.

Generally drive in amps is on 30-40%, sreamer has no drive.Delay and revarb are only to add full sound.

I want to create that beast tone as my main sound and I know pod hd can do it.

I guess the success is with pre and/or post eq to get to desire tone but I am really struggling so I would appreciate any input, suggestions to understand whole process better.

thx Silverhead - it is not the volume i have an issue with - it is overall sound which changes after syncing with pod hd and sounds muddy.. might to read more on output settings etc however found it odd that on pc all sound cool but without not as nice. btw headhones are plugged to pod unit..

I am transferring the patch (sync) from laptop to the unit and when unplugged usb it is kind of sound I created but nowhere near (sounds as you would put a blamket on your speaker if that description helps )

Hi All

Been working with hd pro for few days and got against silly (probably) issue as it is new area for me so i thought I will ask experience guys:

When I plug hd pro through usb link and I work on patches on laptop and when found desired sound and unplugged usb cable the sound has changed (got kind of muddy, with no clarity). not sure why?? anyone can assisst?
