To my recollection, there are two ways to do this.

1) When you want to transfer a patch from one setlist to the other, you can go to HD Edit and pull up the page where you can see all the set lists in one window. From there, you can find your tone in one setlist, a destination patch in the one you want to copy it to, and click-drag the tone to the other setlist.

2) Without HD Edit, you can pull up the patch you want to transfer, hit "Save" once, then use the knobs to select which setlist, bank, and patch you wish to send the tone to.

I still think the POD HD line will sound much better if/when they allow us to load 3rd party IRs into our PODs. As it stands, the stock cab/mic models are tough for me (and others) to work with.

I hear what you're talking about. Typical beating aside, when you're playing the E string on the 11th and the B on the 12th simultaneously there's this weird droning noise that sounds like it's a wibbly wobbly C one octave below middle C.

On top of what others have said here, I'd like the amp models to be improves as well. As one poster said, the models could react more like the real deal. One thing I'd like to HEAR improved on the models is how the modeling represents the highs (especially on the high gain models). When I listen closely to the HD modeling, I notice that the highs sound like there's some sort of overbearing white noise generator being used, and it makes the highs sound cloudy, indistinct, and a bit unmusical (don't get me wrong; properly tweaked, the models are more than useable/passable in a mix). When compared to the real thing or a higher end unit like the Axe Fx II, I hear highs that give more of the proper "****** off hornet" type of tone, instead of sounding like some random hissing in the background. A good example can be found here comparing HD modeling to Axe Fx II modeling. Listen carefully to the highs on each and see if you notice what I am hearing.

Well, I'm not too tech savy when it comes to doing screenshots, but I think the workaround is to download the patch, and then change the extension from .h5e to whatever it is for your unit. Also, could you post a link to that youtube vid? I wanna hear it in action!

I don't have a Clapton, but my old Fender Deluxe Powerhouse Strat works in a pretty similar fashion if I'm not mistaken (it's basically like a poor man's Clapton anyhoo). It has a mid boost (only 12db though) which works well with the HD models imho. I'd say grab yourself a Clapton and sculpt your tone with it however you like it.

Hello nicman. One thing you can try is to run the pod in either "combo power amp" or "Stack Power Amp" modes. This will allow you to select cab sims with the mic sims disabled. This is a global setting that can be accessed by holding the "view" button to go into the system menu, and then page 4 should be your output options, where you can set up your pod to do this. Thank's for the link. I have sent a request for this kind of feature before, but I don't know if they would take very kindly to me sending practically the same request over and over again. :/ I'm just bringing this up here for people who would like to have such an option so they can also make requests to L6. Hopefully, with enough people, L6 will listen, and we'll have an update in the future that will give us more options in our quest for our own "ultimate" tones.

I need to correct myself for the sake of avoiding confusion. I meant to say both amps, plural, and both cabs are both the same as each other and are all set up the exact same way. ...Okay, that is all.
