POD HD to simulates EHX epitome

Hi Line 6ers;

It's been a month now since I start to simulate the/all tones coming from EHX Epitome multi-stompbox but until now I can't simulate even one tone. Any help coming from you guys? Or maybe a tip would be great. Thanks

Hi Line 6'ers;

1. I just want to know if all the tones coming from Mobile Pod application using Mobile In is just thesame on the tones found in Pocket Pod?

2. With Regarding to freebies and all tone compilation, which of this two give you more tones from custom tones and factory presets?

3. Can I use mobile in as a additional effects on my pedal chains?

4. And for the tone, which of this two can deliver more realistic tone?

By the way. for number 1 answer, Do I have to put a 2 mono plugs in Line in's on the back of CPB? or do I have to use a 2 Stereo Plugs. And which line, right or left/fxloop?

Thanks meambobbo , will try this out later. Anyway, Sometimes I'm using my orange 2x12 and sometimes the 1x8 which have a 20 watts. Crate Power block is 150 watts. Is it okay if I will connect my CPB to the 20 watts speaker cab? Coz I have a very retarded neighbors that don't like to smash their wall by my 2x12 and POD.(lol). Does the CPB 150 watts will blow my 20 watts speaker cab right away if connect this?

Just purchased a used crate powerblock for my Pod HD Desktop, just for the power amp use. Although I tried to read every forums for right connection, I'm still stucked and don't know the step by step connection of Crate powerblock and Pod HD Desktop, coz most of the forum, it is HD500. Can anyone tell or give me a step by step connection of CratePB through Pod HD Desktop and Orange 2x12 amp.

My questions are:

1. How to connect CPB to Pod HD Desktop using the Crate PB as a power amp only, using the amp sim from Pod HD Desktop and bypass the crate amp?Can you give a step by step connection tutorials?What will be the Pod's output?

2. How to step by step connection of Pod Hd Desktop through Crate PB if I want to use the Crate PB amp and Pod Hd Desktop as a effects only on the CPB efx loop?

Great answer jimsreynolds. Somehow, just want to correct that my amp is a micro terror not a tiny terror. Anyway, your answers really helpful and correct. Additional questions:

1. If i use a ehx 44 magnum to drive a certain cabinet, does it colored the amp models of the pod hd desktop?

2. Does the ehx 44 magnum is safe to use for a single orange ppc108? Or how about the 2 pcs of orange ppc108?

3. If i use the pod hd in the front of my orange micro terror, can i route any external stompboxes? Before or after the pod hd?

Hi. Sorry for this question coz still a newbie in tech and sound routing. Here is my question:

1. My orange micro terror dont have a fx loop. I'm using front amp input and what is the good output mode for pod hd desktop?

2. Can you tell/show me good pedal block chain if i want to use the tone of micro terror amp + pod hd desktop's tones without the amp sim?

3. If i want to use the amp sim from pod hd desktop, how will i disable the microterror tone just only to hear or use the pod's amp? Is there a way that i could only hear every amp sim from pod without mixing the tone from microterror?

4. If im using either micro terror amp or ehx 44 magnum (im planning to buy). What amp from pod will i use, PRE or FULL?

5. Is there any stompbox or pedal that can act as an effects loop? Not exactly but similar in the same way.

SHorehamsound is right. Even I disconnected my pod to my computer, "hiccup" sound still in there. Even an half of second it is, still ....recognizable. I've read other forums. It is still thesame problem even in the x3's.hope it could be fix on next firmware update

Hi All! Ariba! Ariba!

Anyway, Just want to ask if there is something I missed on my gear Pod HD and FBV SB MK2. Because everytime I'm using a certain patch and I want to jump/change that patch into another patch (from A1 to A2), the sounds always shut for about a second 1-2 sec/ more or less. It's kinda you could hear that the sounds always stop when cahnging a patch. when you are playing a song from verse (clean sound patch) then you will change the patch to chorus (distorted) using distorted patch. You could certainly catch a goat before you get into clean to distorted or patch A1 to patch A2.

What can I do about this?

PoD HD Bean and Pod X3 Bean in one FBV

Hi Line 6ers. Just got my Pod HD Desktop and FBV Shortboard MK2, and I'm very happy with the tandem of this 2 monsters on sounds and playability. However, I'm planning to get another 2nd hand Pod X3 for some additional tons of amps and cabinets also effects. Pod X3 also compatible with FBV Shortboard MK2. It just came to my theory or thinking that,:

1. It is possible to put 1 rj45 jack to Pod HD and 1 rj45 to Pod X3 all the way to rj45 female splitter out to 1 rj45 line cable to FBV Shortboard?

2. After that kind of connection, by using boss line selector, can I control each one of them (pod hd bean and pod x3 bean) by FBV Shortboard MK2 by switching side by side of boss line selector?

HOpe you could give me an advice on how to connect this 2 pods in 1 fbv. Thanks!
