It is absolutly not understandable and disaapointing why there is no official statement from Line6.

The only reasons is that Line6 want or have to "hide" something negative. It is not because the thread is old.

If there exists an easy or logical way to control the DT25 via HD500 behaving soundwise like stand alone Line 6 would have told.

Ok the really good experts here try to calm done the user community by 100s of answers work around and ideas.

Maybe one time the customer community is so loud that Line 6 have to react.

Hi Neal,

Interesting videos. I have the same Variax 700 and now a JTV89. (I additionally installe a GR3 for a GR55.

Which guitar do you prefer sound wise. The Variax 700 or the JTV89?

Can you please post the patches you used in the 2 dreamrig videos.

Ok, understand.

But even if I turn of the fx-loop the sound does not reach channel A.

Why is this the case?

Hi community and experts,

I have been looking at the presets Line 6 link <-> DT.

I have a HD500, DT25 Head with ext. cab and a Variax 89.

I use the Variax loop acoustic patch. I sounds good but I do not understand how ith works.

1.) It uses the Acoustic model and the Variax mags. -> Is this an error or wanted?

2.) If I change any controls on channel A wether in HD Edit or at the DT25 device nothing happens. If I turn off Channel A in HD Edit -> no sound.

3.) If I change any controls on Channel B at the DT25 head -> nothing happens. If I change the parameters e.g. Bass in HD Edit it changes the sound.

Please help me to understand whats going on. for me it is a mirical.
