      <title>G50 transmitter cable wiring: Line 6 dual-ground OR Shure style single-ground?</title>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:2bfee34d-9a7e-407a-8000-27607c4305fb] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;So I was putting a right-angle cable on my TBP12 transmitter cable for my g50 wireless system, and I saw that it had two cables grounded on the sleeve of the old straight 1/4" (the ground wire and a blue wire).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;After looking online here, I found Line 6 saying to ONLY solder one ground, and that the second ground lowers the impedance too much.&amp;#160; Shure does it with single grounds too.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Why did the cables ship from the factory with this lower ground, and how is the sound altered by this?&amp;#160; Which is preferable in the g50 and why?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;(And should I clip the second ground?)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Any and all help is greatly appreciated.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Cheers!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;-ADAM&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:2bfee34d-9a7e-407a-8000-27607c4305fb] --&gt;</description>
