Pod xt live noise when connected through USB

Hi,

I have a POD XT Live. It generates a loud buzz when i connect it to my mac through USB.

I have an iMac 21 inch i5. I'm running OSX Lion and have all drivers, device firmware and applications up to date on line6 monkey.

Connection:

Guitar--> Podxtlive

Podxtlive--> Mac via USB

The pod and my mac are plugged into the same power source. I also tried using a different PSU for the pod.

When the usb cable is disconnected there is absolutely no noise from the pod.

Hi Sach,

I'm Running Mac OS X Lion ver 10.7.4.

Line6 Monkey ver 1.53.0

When I start monkey it says I have no drivers installed and the newest available drivers are 7.1.5.

I downloaded and installed the drivers twice. The first time I installed them, the installation after finishing restrated my computer.

I have a POD XT LIVE and my computer is not recognizing it.

Please help me find a solution.
