Why do you use floor monitors and in ears together?

We completly switched from monitors to in ears. No more wedges on stage, so nobody in the audience hears a click.

Play the tracks including clicks over Mac book, iPod or iPhone - there are several good Apps for organizing tracks in tracklists. Connect it to 15/16 on M20d and you are free to mix it to the aux channels or mains as you want.

If you want additional monitor wedges on the stage, you're running short on aux channels on the M20d. You could put the main mix to the monitors, that gives a good balanced sound level on the stage. The personal mix for each band member you put only on the in ears, which are connected to M20d Aux Channels.

Here another add on suggestion:

Line6 could develop a in ear monitoring system (IEM) connected over Line6-Link to the Stagescape.

I found the Quadra wireless IEM in the net: http://www.lectrosonics.com/Wireless-Monitors/quadra.html

If you develop a transmiter with 4 channels in one box, connected over one cable to the mixer, that would be a very nice and easy solution.

Hi,

i work with the stagescape for about 3 months and would never return back to an analog mixer.

Its a big step and a big improvement for our band - and the audience

you must set the recording destination (internal memory, PC, SD-card) in the recordings menu.

For playback you can again choose a playback source in the recording menu. Additional you can choose to either record all input channels, the output mix or both.

Do you record on a SD-Card?

I compared too and decided for the M20d. Reasons:

- Gain / trimm settings are stored and can be managed remote on IPad

- More channels

- recording of input channels for easier soundcheck

- Qualitiy / diversity of effects

- settings are done in a graphic way not with sliders

- for me its the easier mixer to operate during a gig where i make music and mix the sound at same time

- USB interface for recording directly into DAW

Additional function: add delay for main out or aux sends, adjustable in meters / inches.

If it will be done, I would prefere it on the Aux sends. So we could plug the main PA to the main outs and a second line of speakers in the distance over an aux send and link the Aux-send-levels of each channel to the main levels. Still three Aux sends are left for the monitoring.

I will add this request to the future firmware request task.

The hardware encoder work same like the computer mouse cursor: The faster you move the mouse, the biger way the cursor goes.

I like the feature. If you want to open a channels level from -oo to 0 you can turn the knob quick. If you want to make a small adjustement, you turn it slow for some clicks.

Same for the master knob. A fast turn to the left closes the master level to -oo

Hi eccofive,

sorry, I have a only a pickup adress in switzerland for this boxes.

They are available in different colors and different sizes. Pick the size that fits your needs.

I put a 3cm foam upholstery inside and sticked it with duble sided tape to the walls/bottom/top.

It suits my needs to carry the mixer in my car to the gigs.
