Found the answer in the FAQ. I was trying to update teh FBV. I needed to select Spider IV. It found it an dis now updating properly.

I have registered my FBV Shortboard MK II and Spider IV -75. I have version 1.10 FW on the FBV but the monkey says no update is available so I cannot install the Infusion update which needs FW 1.50. I updated the Monkey this AM as well.

In addition, the Monkey list does not show the infusion update on it anywhere. I must be missing a major point here somewhere. Can someone get me headed in the right direction?

The spider finally arrived after 20 days. The SB MK 2, I cancelled after 24 days and ordered it from Sweetwater. Got it shipped the same day.

Now I'm hunting for all the tid bits of info to get me started using the SB.

I guess I am a bit disappointed that the unit did not come with a USB cable yet it is required to communicate with the computer. I had one around so it was not to awful bad.

I keep getting all kinds of info about buying plug ins etc for the farm but for some reason I can't seem to get the Spider IV and padal I ordered from my dealer on Jan19 to get here from L6. Ugh

I could have gone to his competition and had it that same day but I was trying to support my local dealer .. frustrated.

He says he ordered on Jan. 20 and it was picked on Jan 22 at L6 but that was 10 days ago. Must be using covered wagons to deliver.

The board is apparently back ordered (high demand ) which makes me feel good about the product...once I get it.

I guess I'll just keep taking jabs from my friends who are telling be I should have ordered from Sweetwater and I would be playing it last week.

Pod Farm Files - Will they work on Spider IV

I am considering purchasing a Spider IV. I have been using the POD Farm with Tone Port Gold Plug In. I like it but I want to know if I will be able to use any of the presets from the Farm on a Spider IV. I do plan to purchase the shortboard.

Wil I be able to use teh edit feature of Spider IV to pull in teh Farm presets?

Grooves Tab in Gearbox

Prior to the Beta version there was a Grooves tab. It had several hundred Grooves. The feedback section on the Beta version of Gearbox says that the Grooves are to be reinstalled in February 2009.

I don't see them. When are they being added back?

If they are there, where are they (:))?
