rpitera, could you please give me one link for any PDFs showing each and every preset, button, map and settting? I didn t find any. About videos, sorry i don t have found any. Now, I m not disapointed with my Spider. I preset it my way to play, and sometimes, I play with the presets of Line6 to have fun, but it s true that you need a good memory to remember where are tose presets after you play them. A sheet would have been a good thing, and not only with the list of all effects. Also to explain about functions of the ampli. I won t get rid of my Spider, but, it could be more explained...

Volume difference for differents effects

Hi. Can someone try to explain how can I get that my Spider IV remain with the same volume when I go through differents effects? Sometimes, the difference is so big that I guess I will not be able to use that amp in public session, cause it will probably bother the audience.

Just to make sure, does it mean than I can only change between A, B, C, or D of the same bank with my foot, and that I have to change the bank MANUALLY to be able to move between 4 news efects? If this is it, it' s far of what I thought a foot controller should be... I' m kind of disapointed...

Thanks for your answer. And please forgive my english.

I thought the pedal would control the amp. At least, that' s what I' ve been told where I bought it. So you say I have to get another software, as that Pod farm I see in a lot of posts? But if I get it, this will oblige me to play with mi ampli, the pedal and a PC too.. And will this allow me to change effects with the FBV? I mean be able to use for ex 10 effects consecuently in the same song, but only using the pedal, or will it only allow me to move in the same bank and its 4 effects? If so, maybe I should have buy the FBV Shortbord? I'm kind of disapointed, because, after speaking with the seller, I really Thought I was buying a pedal to manage my ampli, and I see it' s not it.

I just read the following comment in FAQs

Q: Can I access more than one bank of presets with my FBV EXPRESS?

A: No, the FBV Express will only access the A, B, C or D channels of whatever bank your unit is selected. For example, if your POD XT is sent to BANK 5, then you would be able to access and change between 5A, 5B, 5C, and 5D.

If my FBV Express MK II cannot access more than 1 bank, whhy should I assign different values to the FBV in the software application? anyway, I did it, and I don' t understand how the values i assigned change the way the FBV works with my Spider IV 75 Amp...
