Any brand of contact cleaner will do the job.&amp;#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The reason I replaced the jack asembly is that the release became worn, and made it hard to remove the vdi cable.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Possibly if the bass player ran into you, it could have cracked the assembly and gave you a permanent connection problem.&amp;#160; If this is the case, you'll need the new jack assembly.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:99874083-0d3f-4398-86e2-4402ab8f7e11] --&gt;</description>
