Thanks. I want to let everyone know about the great experience I just had with Line 6 Customer Service. After explaining my situation to Ashley, she offered me a very fair and reasonable solution. Thank you Line 6, this is the kind of Customer Service one would expect when purchasing a $1,400.00 Amp. I have been phasing over to All Line 6 equipment, and it's good to know that Line 6 takes care of their customers.

2X12 DT-50 Power Transformer

Hi, I was playing along on my DT-50 and it JUST DIED !!! So.... I grap my trusty meter and find that the secondary side of my Power Transformer is reading only about 8 ohms resistance.

Can someone tell me if I can just replace the Power Transformer? How would I get this repaired. It's practically NEW, but I can't find a reciept. Please help me (sad face).

I have a 2X12 DT-50. Are you talking about the fuse on the back of the chassis that you need a little flat head screw driver to remove?

Dead DT-50

Hi All, it's obvious I don't know what I'm doing on this forum. So I'm posting this again. Has anyone experienced their DT-50 go dead while playing through it? I was pIaying away, and it just went dead. I pulled the chassis and all the replaceable fuses look good. I'm curious if there may be an infamous part (that someone knows about) in it that fails and kills all the power. It's not under warranty anymore so I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this, please post up.

Help, My DT-50 Went Dead

Hi All, I was playing along on my DT-50 and all of a sudden it went dead. I have pulled the amp chassis out of the cabinet and checked all 3 of the replaceable little glass fuses (this includes the main fuse in the back of the amp). All fuses appear to be good. The closest Line is repair is 30 miles away. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggsetions will be appreciated.

Pod HD 500 - High Noise In Tuner Mode ???

Anybody have any idea as to why my HD 500 doesn't mute the amp after I hold down the tap switch and enter "tuner mode" ? When in Tuner Mode, it's like the amp goes to full volume. Really, Really Loud!!! I've tried re-installing the flash memory and firm wear but it didn't help. I'm hooked to a DT50 2x12 via Link 6.

Re: POD HD 500 Goes Silent When Selecting Preset

I'm having the same issue with my 500. When I hit a preset foot switch (5 -8....ABCD) the volume goes silent. If I hit the same foot switch 1 or 2 more times, it all of a sudden gets really loud.

I'm going thru all the post I can find, but as of yet...I haven't seen where this problem has been completely solved.

If anyone has found the final fix, please let me know. Until then, I'll keep looking and wondering if I made a mistake investing in this thing???

Pod HD- L6-Dt Amp ?

Hi all, I'm trying to understand why, when we hook up our Pod HD's via L6 to our DT Amps, that we don't have the option of the FXs of channel "A" to NOT be fed to Channel "B". Maybe I'm missing something. I would think it would be good to be able to set up channal "B" completely independently from channel "A" (including all FXs).

What I'm wondering is, what's the point of switching to channel "B", if all the FXs go to channel "B" the way they are set up on channel "A" ?

With the technology of today, wouldn't it be better if the Pod HD would save the channel "B" settings also (via L6), independently of channel "A" ?

I'm sure there's a good reason for the way it is, but for the people who were smart enough to develope these things in the first place it seems that it wouldn't be hard for them to do.

Any educated feedback will be appreciated. What do you guys think?

Thanks Nick. yeah, the amp does this with nothing hooked up to it. That was the first thing I checked. It acts the same with or without my hd300 connected vis L6.

I replaced the 12AX7's with new tubes. That cut down the hiss and noiseiness of the amp considerably, but the hum is still there. From what I'm hearing, a little hum is ok except that it shouldn't get louder as you turn up the volume knobs, as mine does.It's not what I would call a loud hum, and it doesn't project through the guitar sound when I play, but when you stop playing, you can hear the amp sitting there with a low hum coming from it.

Guess I need to find an authorized repair center. However, at lower volumes, below half way, it sounds really good and the hum is not really noticible.
