I have the FBV express mkII, so I can use that to control the toneports distortion and other effects?

Is there any way to use a FBV pedal in conjunction with the toneport? Like as in, when recording with toneport, using the FBV pedal to switch between effects in the toneport?

Recording Amp with UX2

Is there any way to record my amp using the UX2?

I have a peavey 6505+, which has a preamp out in the back. I was wondering if I could hook the preamp out into the toneport and record my amps sound, and then use an impulser to simulate the cab. Possible?

Is there any way to record my amp with the UX2 without using mics?

I have a peavey 6505+, which has a preamp out output in the back. I am wondering if it is possible to send that to the UX2 and record my amps tone and then use a cab simulator. Possible?

I got it off of ebay, and have contacted the seller and he is going to agree to refund it.

I contacted a tech rep on the phone and he suggested I do the same thing.

Another interesting thing, Monkey does not recognize that I even have the updates installed either. In the Monkeys main updates menu, it shows the lists of updates, and under installed it says no, no matter how many times I install the driver
