Multiple Ux1(s) per compuer

Hey I have a question, my friend is a fellow guitarist, and we are gonna hang out at my place and record some stuff on my computer. He has Ux1 as do I, and I was wondering if his Ux1 that he usually uses on his computer would work on my computer? I'm asking so that we wouldn't have to record one guitar and then the other, but we could rather come up with ideas, play along together, and record it and see what it sounds like. Mighty experts, help me out.
