I got to speak to Mr. Tabbert, nice catching up with him. I'll be driving the amp in shortly. Thanks again.

Spider Valve HD100 Overheating?

I think my HD100 is showing symptoms of overheating. After about 2 hours at rehearsal, the sound will cut out for a second or two and the amp model and channel LEDs will go out, then everything comes back on for a few seconds, then cuts out again. Rinse/repeat indefinitely. Once the amp is back home and cooled down it's fine. Back at practice after two hours or so and the problem is back. I rehearse in three hour blocks, and the room isn't excessively hot, so the head should be able to handle it.

So...I'm looking at a repair here i think. Anybody had this problem and been sucessful at a fix?

BTW: Line6 guys...does Mark Tabbert still work over there? If so, tell him Chadman from Midiman/M-Audio says "HEY!" I used to work with Mark, George and Shaun at Midiman way back when. RIP Shaun!!!!
