Hi,

I've been trying to get the Line 6 Edit program to run on my computer (WinXPproSP3 - i5cpu / 3.20GHz & 2GB ram). I want to use it with my Bass Pod XT Pro (since Gearbox won't work on it). I have tried all this week, with no success, to make it work. Today (11-26-10), I decided to just give up and write to you. I did not see this item in the forum search, but maybe I didn't put the right words into the search engine.

I have been able (as far as I can tell) to actually install the Line 6 Edit Program. While installing, it wants to include Java Runtime v1.5.0, but can't find it online, so it skips it. Then when I try to run it, I get a message that it could not find a valid runtime, and "could not init JNILoader". Now I do have the most current (got it today - several times) Java (Version 6 Update 22). I've even downloaded the offline version, hoping it would contain the neccessary drivers(?), but no success there either. Your download page does say that this version of Line 6 Edit (v3.0.2) will work with Java 6.

So... I've used this program with my Bass Pod XT Pro in the past, and I'd like to continue using it - or an editor of some kind. What can I do??
