Hi,

I managed to blow my DT25 without even getting to play it and I fully admit it was all my fault. Plugged the 120v into a 240v power point (Australia).

Excuse my ignorance but does the power transformer have to be replaced by a service centre? Can you use another power transformer or does it have to be the same type as the one in the Amp. IE is there no 'generic' type that you can get?

If you do have to get it from Line 6 and its out of warrantee or not covered, can you get it sent to you and you fix it yourself or do you have to send it to a service center for them to do it?

Would you use a Rokit 8 as a Stage Monitor with POD or only in the Studio with your POD?

Hi There,

Please forgive me but I'm a bit ignorant with some technical aspects of the POD HD500 even after reading manuals etc...

My question is regarding the Output Jacks for the POD HD500.

Everything is fine when I have either one or two XLR's going to a sound desk but I've had problems when it comes to plugging into an Amp (just to use as a foldback). I can plug a 1/4 Cable into the Phones jack (which I do at home) and which works with the Amp, but neither of the unbalanced 1/4 output jacks appear to work..

After reading the Advanced guide, am I correct in thinking that I have to choose which output method I want to use within the POD HD500 settings mode?. This would appear to be the case in section 2.8 of the guide but I'm not 100% sure.

I've been hearing alot about the 4 Cable Method and sort of understand it.

Is it something that would be used if you are going directly to a sound desk while using a stage monitor for feedback?

Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone has used a KRK Rokit 8 as a personal stage monitor during gigs with the POD HD500.

I can't hear myself during practices at church due to all the other guitarists using their amps up loud....

I don't want to use in ears I find them too physically painful to my ears.

Does anyone have any other suggestions that would be around the same price as the KRK's?

I would like to see more perhaps more stringed instruments perhaps such as the Koto? or a Lyre? I guess it could be argued why do we need ones such as these on a guitar when you can synth them on a key board. Of course, not all of us can play a keyboard, so I would still benefit from it I suppose.

JTV59 new models. What would be cool to see?

First of all, let me say I love the ones it already has but I'd really love to see a Duesenberg Starplayer TV included one day.......

Just say'in..... otherwise no complaints about what's there already.

I know that in the Workbench you can adjust each individual string volume for the guitar as a whole but is there any way of adjusting the string volume for just one guitar model?

Hi All,

I was thinking of getting the Spider Valve MkII and FBV to go with my JTV59 instead of the DT25 and POD HD.

I was wondering after looking at the Spider Valve MkII specs if it is possible to use two effects from the one bank at the same time?

EG if I wanted to use the Red Comp at the same time as the Pitch Glide etc?

Can you customize the actual banks themselves or just the effects themselves?
