In the example you cited the noise was unrelated to the cable and occurred whether or not the cable was connected.

Cutting the connection to pin 4 still allows the system to function but the noise should be slightly higher if stop do. The system will be a bit noisier if you were to use a Shure cable for example as they do not connect the shield to pin 4 as in the Line6 cable.

Hard to say without actually seeing and measuring the unit. They are very quiet but as all things electronic there is always noise at some level. If you run that into a super high gain amp then you will be amplifying that noise and at some point will be able to hear it. That's normal. Now if you are getting noise running into a normal to low gain input we would have to look for something else.

How long have you had this unit and was it always this way or is this something new? Can you send the serial number of the transmitter please?

There is a tiny switch in the output XLR jack that is likely stuck. Try plugging in and out on that jack giving it a slight wiggle. Some brands of plugs seem to leave it stuck.

Sorry for the problem. Take a look at the concentric rings at the bottom of the mic capsule. Are they nice and shiny? It sounds like you are not getting a connection between the capsule and the pogo pins.

Can you tell me the serial numbers involved?

Any problems out there?

Hi Mike

My best guess is that the Pedaltrain JR is part of the problem. The antennas (4 of them inside a G30) sit horizontally near the bottom of the receiver and your pedalboard is metal so it is blocking the signal from coming in as strong as it could be. The G50 on the other hand has the antennas above the box so they are not being blocked and that could enough difference to have the experience you are reporting. You should try removing it from the pedalboard as a test and see if that fixes things.

Sorry for your problem. I have never experienced that one. It sounds like an internet/server issue ... like somehow Monkey is not getting a good enough connection from your computer back to our server and then back to you and crashing in the process.

Could you possible try from another computer? Are you connected to a modem wirelessly? Maybe there is an issue there.

Manually loading a file would only be an option for in-house engineers to test code. It is not available to end users (or me )

What RF mode are you running in? Both the V70 and V75 MUST run in the same mode or they will interfere with each other.

Have you gone through the troubleshooting checklist?
