      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:7d195aff-04b7-4ca0-ae32-71991faf790b] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;I ordered a JTV-59CSB last June and received it in January, 2011 from Elderly Instruments.&amp;#160; The switch was defective and I returned it to Line 6 for replacement.&amp;#160; I got the guitar back within a couple of weeks.&amp;#160; The new switch had the too small washer and a black tip.&amp;#160; I contacted Line 6 through my support ticket and received a new washer and a new cream colored tip within a few days.&amp;#160; I also did not receive the correct wrenches with the original shipment.&amp;#160; Line 6 sent the correct wrenches within a reasonable amount of time.&amp;#160; I would have preferred that everything was perfect in the original shipment but I recognized that there might be some glitches with the early adopters.&amp;#160; Line 6 responded very promptly and courteously to resolve my issues.&amp;#160; So far I am very pleased with the guitar.&amp;#160; I truly sympathize with those of you still waiting and hopefully you will also be pleased with the guitar once you receive it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:7d195aff-04b7-4ca0-ae32-71991faf790b] --&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:808e9efc-7486-4942-a25b-573ff39a2c0a] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Are there any plans to include the JTV in CustomTone.com?&amp;#160; I seem to recall that Institute of Noise or some other site had a collection of Variax patches.&amp;#160; It would really be helpful for those of us not as proficient in using Workbench to have a place where we could try out patches for the various modeled guitars that others have created.&amp;#160; I found several patches in the past that really helped the sounds in my old Vatriax 300.&amp;#160; I have the JTV-59CSB with the replaced&amp;#160; switch and while it sounds much better than the 300, I could really benefit from the patches created by some of the forum members, especially on the 12 string and accoustic models.&amp;#160; Thanks for the consideration.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:808e9efc-7486-4942-a25b-573ff39a2c0a] --&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:ec01aa40-0a4a-4e3c-95b6-fae669dce65f] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have a defective JTV-59 and Line 6 suggested I try the following (not in lieu of returning the guitar to Line 6 for a total and complete fix, but merely something to try).&amp;#160; He suggested doing a hard reset of the guitar as follows:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;First, disconnect the CAT-5 cable&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Then, with the model off, press and hold the Alt-tuning knob until the model knob flashes white once and while holding down reconnect the CAT-5 cable.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Then, press the model knob until it turns blue.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;That supposedly resets the hardware.&amp;#160; I will try it this evening when I get home and let everyone know if it helps.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;By the way for any of you POD XTLive users, Line 6 confirmed that currently neither Edit or Gearbox will work with the JTV for switching models.&amp;#160; They promised to let me know if there will be any updates to Edit or Gearbox to solve this issue, but I am not hopeful.&amp;#160; I guess they expect me to upgrade my Variax 300 and XTLive, which both work fine, to a JTV and HD-500 for about $1900.&amp;#160; I am not sure it is worth the cost and will likely return the JTV unless they fix it for good and they make my XTLive work with it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:ec01aa40-0a4a-4e3c-95b6-fae669dce65f] --&gt;</description>
