at 2:14 till 2:45 there's a sound (it seems like a synth) is it possible to get something similar from the pod on the guitar?

So i'm getting into bass playing but i cant afford a bass right now so i was wondering is it possible that if i can use the guitar as a bass to get a sound similar to bass

First i want to ask that is it a good idea to use the pitch glide to pitch shift -1 octave.I looked at different forums some people said that the bass is 2 octaves down as compared to the guitar which is true?

Also the bass octaver on the pod,will that help?

I tried down shifting to -1 octave and also the bass octaver but it didnt sound even close to a bass

Can anyone help me on this or is there anyone who actually tried to get a close sound to a bass using the guitar with the pod?

Lastly how can i keep track of the tuning if i actually wana play a bass part of a song then is it possible to do different tunings,i guess retuning to such low octaves wont be possible with the guitar?

by keeping in one bank number you mean 1 part of the song in 1A and the other in 2A?

Whats the quickest way to change a preset while performing on stage by foot?

I'm new to the pod and i looked at the manual but couldnt figure out

What i want is that while i'm playing on one preset,i want to quickly move to the other preset without any delay(within 1,2 seconds)

the chorus and the verse sound fine but the intro thing and the solo that don't sound fine.There isn't any other guitar,the bassist is using a distorted sound

From muselive i did find this:

there are many ideas on how to achieve the intro/solo effect for fury, but what I can hear (2007-2008 ) is matt using the sustainer on his manson's (seattle in specific i think?) with slight delay, and the octave +1/-1 harmony setting on the whammy. matt achieves the "dragging" sound via moving the treadle between each of the octaves whilst sustaining. creates some crazy, weird but ace sounds. fury in the studio i'd guess was also the octave +1/-1 harmony on the whammy but not sustained

I tried it didn't sound quite right.

My simple question is how can i get theoctave +12/-12 harmony setting just like in digitech whammy 4.

The only reason i was "bumping" it was because i asked another question a while back and no one answered i thought maybe it got over looked.It doesn't mean i'm being rude or anything.

I appreciate what everyone does in this forum to help eachother

isn't the harmony necessary? or by just setting the pitch glide on a +12 and -12 octave should help?
