XLR outputs - plugged into "only" right channel by accident...

my flextone II plus jumps to edit mode by itself...HELP!!

hi folks! so, no matter what i am doing, my amp keeps jumping into edit mode all by itself whether i am playing or not. so, i am assuming that my problem is most likely a bad potentiometer. i have a gig tonight and i just read something about trying to "park" all the knobs at 10, so i am going to try that. another issue that popped up at my gig last night was when i turned on the boost switch via my floorboard for soloing, my amp started to cut out every couple of seconds for maybe a half second at a time. i also read in another forum that a guy was having the same problem with his line 6 and someone suggested using a spray called "deoxit". he said he tried it and it worked. so, i am on the hunt for deoxit. is that the best product or is there something similar that i can use. i live in toronto and not sure where to find deoxit.

if none of the above solutions work, what is the best way to figure out what knob(s) is/are the bad one(s)? i had the same sort of problem with my last flextone plus and i kept it for parts, just in case. i'm am hoping i can repair the problem without having to take to an amp guru or long and mcquade's. i have no back up amp, so i need mine to keep gigging!! any help is appreciated!
