Can I use Web Monkey with on a Linux platform?

I used it before with Windows and it worked great and I would like to continue to keep my amp updated. I would really appreciate any advice someone could give me on this matter.

Spider IV; Is this a tuner issue or a guitar issue?

I recently purchased a new guitar and attempted to tune it for the first time using the chromatic tuner on my Spider IV, 150. And when I did so, I went from sting to string starting on the 6th and brought each string to pitch according to the display. Once finished I strummed all the open strings and it sounded HORRIBLY out of tune. I then tuned it the old school way using a pitch pipe and my ear then I turned my amp back on and plugged back in and although it sounded in tune the display read otherwise. I then proceeded to tune according to the tuner on the amp once again but only the 6th string and then tuned all the other strings by ear based on the 6th. Again it sounded in tune, but the tuner on the amp did not agree. For example the 6th string read E according to the amp, but the fifth string read Bb, the fourth Eb, the third Ab, and so on. I checked the intonation of the guitar and it was fine. To investigate it further I plugged in my other guitar and proceeded to tune it using the amp. I tuned each string to pitch (according to the display) and when finished I strummed it, played chords, scales and it was in perfect tune according to the amp and my ear. Can someone PLEASE offer me some insight that will help me figure out whats really going on here? I would greatly appreciate it.

It can do so much more than I will ever ask of it, but all I really do is play the Clean channel and the Green Hi Gain channel. I have made several attempts to spend time with it and see what it can REALLY do, but time after time I end up landing on a model and just wailin. I guess at the end of the day it's more about playing (for myself anyway) and less about tone hunting. I have a really good time experimenting with it though.
