Yes, you can use those cabinets. When you're using both cabinets at 8ohm, your head sends 200W to each cabinet.

Yes you can plug the HD750 into a 8ohm cab but you won't get all the power (but 400W is enough I think xD)

I had the same problem the other day. The ROCK light was out (just that one) and I was worried. But the following day it was working again and everything is working properly now. I think it's not a big issue, you shouldn't worry (besides you said you have the warranty, so it's fine)

HD400 without a cab?

Hi!

I have recently purchased a HD400 head and it will get here on monday. The point is that I have an important show on wednesday and i want to equalize and make my own channels. The point is that the cab i had got burnt and i don't have a cab. I will use the direct out in the show and i will borrow a cab for the show, but not before. So my question is, can i use the HD400 head with headphones and no cab?

I recently purchased the line6 HD400 and i need a cab. I want to buy the line6 cab lowdown 410, but i saw it works at 8ohms and the head cannot work at 8ohms, only at 4ohms. Could i use the head with a 8ohms cab? I need to know because i will play a show and the other band will lend me their bass cab and it works at 8ohms and i don't want to make the cab burn

To sum up, can i use a single 8ohm cab (like the lowdown cab) with the HD400 head?

Hi!

I am new in this kind of things with my bass. I have always had a Line6 combo, and I really love the spund so I am thinking of buying a Line6 HD head. I read the manuals and they say "Only use a 4ohm speaker cabinet when running in mono. Only use 8ohm speaker cabinets when feeding a pair". I also read some discussions and I did not get the idea (some of them were really confusing). My question is, Can I use the line6 HD400 or HD750 with only one 8ohm speaker cabinet (getting of course less W)? I think I can since the line6 410 cab is a 8ohm cab, but I am not sure that's why I ask.

thanks for the answer.I came back to factory channels (but the clean and the synth).I deleted the synth and I set the rock model.Comparing it to the factory preset (comparing it to the rock one,so I use the same amp model) and the factory preset sounds louder than the one I made

Today I was playing with the amp and I got tired of the effects I had in the channels so I erased all and use the ones that come with the amp when you buy it.I didn't like the clean one,so I changed the EQ and the gain etc.The point is that I played with the new clean I made and when I changed the channel (to one of the presets that comes from the factory) the latter was louder.I don't know why.The "Chan Vol" is at its maximun and the drive at 12.The master is in the same position in both channels.Then I changed to another preset that comes from the factory and it sounds louder than the one I made.I don't why,so if someone could help me please

Hi!

I'm completely lost in the technical parts of the amps and i don't know if this question could be stupid or something like that,but in this forum all my doubts were solved in the past so that's why I came here asking for help again.

I have a LowDown 400pro (the combo) and it has an output for a speaker cabinet of 8ohm.What should be the recommended W for this external cabinet?At the begining I thought 400W but then I read it was a parallel conection,so I guessed with 200W-250W should be perfect,but since I lost with amps,I prefered to ask.
