X3 Always distorting

Hi, I have a x3 desktop that no matter what patch i'm in - it distortes through the headphones and the 1/4" outputs into my mixer.. I checked the output setting it's on studio/direct..The only way it disappers if i have my guitars { strat and LP } volumes almost off.. I have a xt pro that dosen't do this with either gitter-- It's the x3...I did a factory preset on it but it still has the annoying unuseable distortion..It's aggrivating when the pod says CLEAN CHOROS and it's distorting...Any suggestions??? i bought it used off e-bay..

Flextone II Plus

Hi. I have a Flextone II plus that when i plug in my 8 ohm extension cab { 1-8 ohm 12" ev sro} after approx 1/2 hour the sound is thin--No bottom end. When i use the amp without extension it seems fine. Also the left low z pre out { 3-pin } has never worked -ever- but the right always does? Whats up with that? I have several small venues comming up and wanted to use this amp with a extension cab- My mesa & marshall rigs are too large for the gigs.Also Is there a download for a fat sparkly clean fender tone from custom tones? I think this amp is the original software as i bought it new and never did a upgrade to it- Does it need a upgrade? And for you guys that had your amp put up for years like mine - got it out of the closet and it lit up but no sound- you need to take a 1/4" plug and insert it into the efx return jack approx 20 times- Your sound will return..

Thanks, I have a shortboard but the longboard has so much more i was wondering if all the other switches actually did something or were just dead..I was told that favorite amp and the 3 stompboxes wouldn't work with the xt pro.Just the vetta...Thanks again.. I may get one of the longboards..

Thanks guys, I will give it a shot- I remember seeing these bass amps when i installed the model packs last year-And they most likely are presets associated with the bass amps..Thanks again..Not that it matters but is there a custom tone site { Like for guitar } to load bass sounds in my xt pro??

Thanks, I remember when i loaded the packs there was something like a detroit bass and a british bass and i don't see the option to open them anymore..

Hi, I have a xt pro loaded with model packs--How do i access them????- I been all over this site and failed to see how to do this-And the user manual dosen't mention this either.. I want to access the bass modeling pack-Help..

XT PRO OD LEVEL

Hi, Does anybody know how to adjust the output LEVEL for the ibanez tube screamer in my xt pro. { without using the gain adjustment} First of all i looked at 141 ibanez tube screamers and they all have a OUTPUT LEVEL adjustment-- Not 1 made by IBANEZ has the drive,gain & tone knobs that i could find { they ALL have 1= overdrive or drive 2= tone 3=LEVEL and the turbo has- 4=mode } The signal path for all of them {and other dod,arion ect} goes as follows Input= drive or overdrive {gain} then tone then LEVEL {output volume} I was told that the gain is the Level adjustment for the output volume on my xt pro-- Yes this is somewhat true-- You turn down the gain it does just that --it kills your gain which will also lower the volume-- No gain--No tone...The pro should be able to function just like my 808 Turn up the gain adjust the tone and if it's too loud--simply turn down the LEVEL..I can't seem to do this..Even my 2210 2 channel 100watt marshall head has the same type of signal path-{ as with all amps} - Input= Preamp GAIN Tone or EQ section then output { Master LEVEL } I have never seen any equipment made by anybody that would use a GAIN as a output LEVEL adjustment..There has got to be another way....If it can't be done so be it-- I really think it hasn't been thought through-- But i can always use the efx loop and get out the trusty 808...And i started a blog on this before and the site won't let me reply to it anymore-- Maybee not enough GAIN - TONE-and LEVEL....

Thanks for the reply--The tube screamer OD i like but when i turn down the gain { to get a volume level slightly louder than my current patch sound } It seems to affect the tone of the OD-- I just wondered if the xt had a LEVEL control like the original tube screamer did.{ Tube screamer= Overdrive,Tone,& Level controls } { something just to adjust the output level without affecting the tone of the pedal } .I guess i can dig out my old pedals and use them in a fx loop- I would like to turn up the gain and turn down the output level...

Hi, Is there a way to lower the output level for the stompbox overdrives { without cutting the sound of the units }-- It seems like the only OD with a level adjustment is the vetta comp...I got a good set of patches { a,b,c,d} all adjusted to a good even volume level and when i use the stomp button- it's way too loud. I can't find a output level adjustment on the tube screamer or any other OD units besides the vetta comp......Maybee i'm not looking in the right place....Help..
