my variax acoustic guitar will play fine for 4 to 5 minutes then all sound will stop working. I can unplug from amp replug back into amp and it will again play for 4 to 5 min then quit again.

my variax acoustic guitars plays fine for 4 to 5 minutes then all sound shuts off. I can unplug from amp , replug into amp and it will again play 4 to 5 minutes then sound shuts out again. Its not the cord nor is it the jack in the guitar. any ideas?
