Agreed.

At least prevent creating new subjects on this forum, until the issue is solved.

But spam is a common issue and a lot of solutions exist... This is surprising that it takes so long to fix.

Don't even need a captcha... They need at least a behaviour analysis.

The user danielgreee has published more than a thousand messages since the March 9th 2013 and is creating almost one message a minute these days... Should be easy to catch.

If you're referring to the intro of the song, I'm pretty sure, that there is an effect in the POD that does something really similar, or some effects combined.

I can't check right now, but I think there is a patch in the default setlists (FX Heavy ?) that sounds the same.

How to correct the intonation on a JTV-89 ?

Hi,

I feel a bit dumb asking that here but I have an intonation issue with my JTV-89, on the B and high E strings.

So not a big deal, I look for the allen wrench provided with the JTV and try to find the right one. And there... boom. I can't find any way to stick this allen wrench in the bolt head as the pickups are in the way and the only allen wrench that is short enough is too small.

So how did YOU managed to change the intonation of your JTV-89 ?

The only ways I can think of right now are :

- removing the pickups... hummm quite a lot of work.

- changing the action, raising the bridge, so that the bolt heads are higher than the pickup... But I'm satisfied with the action right now, and setting the intonation with another action than the one I want is useless.

- sawing the allen wrench to shorten it... it's the best option so far

Did I miss something ?

It's not really detailed, but there are some things (at least the NAMM's announcements).

And yes I'm a bit disappointed because I'd love to have a 89F, but I enjoyed my 89 for more than a year, and waiting all that time to get my hands on the guitar would have been painful . So even knowing the release date of the 89F, I would probably not have waited that long.

It seems that Line 6 announces products some time before. I don't see any 89F in stores here in France, nor any availability date so I don't know if it has really been released. I think the Stagescape has been announced a few months before the actual release.

And the Variax update is announced but will probably be released in a few months (and the forums will be full of "Does someone know the release date ?").

So yes, we don't know long-term Line 6's plans, but we regularly have some news before the actual release of the products, so you can anticipate a bit. And you don't have to buy a product as soon as it is released (with electronic products, that's not always a good idea... you should wait a few months until the main bugs are fixed ^^).

Don't take me wrong : I'd love to have details on what is planned and know what products we'll see in the next 12-24 (or more) months. But I think Line 6 is not handling that so badly.

About the latency, I did everything I could (on a PC, and a pretty good one !), it got better but it's still not perfect. It depends a lot of the song, sometimes it works, sometimes it's aweful...

I don't know what you can do on a PS3 (except not using the HDMI as the sound output, as it is known to have some latency).

But, that's why I didn't created the patch yet, most of the time it's... okay. So it isn't worth the time (I don't enjoy creating a patch ^^).

I'm serioulsy thinking about doing that, as I can't stand this latency, and it makes me sound reaaally bad...

Not sure I'll have the motivation though (I prefer to play than to tweak ^^), so I'm also interested.

But I was more thinking on a "multipurpose patch" (because there might be a lot of songs !), with a set of effects that would work for almost any song, enabling the effects I need for the song (a nice clean when nothing enabled, 2-3 dist effects : crunch / overdrive / heavy dist, chorus, autowah, reverb... I might have to split that into several patches if the DSP is not enough).

The hard part is to know what effects are necessary for what song...
