The SpiderJam certainly works with the floorboard. If you click here, there is a compatibility chart:

Unfortunately, I am not exactly sure which one is related to the SpiderJam since they aren' kind enough to list it in the chart Since the SpderJam was based on the Spider III technology, that's the one I would use.

I have a FBV (the original one) hooked up to my SPiderJam and it works great.

I agree with Steve. My SpiderJam is very functional and it has really helped me in my playing over the years. I think it is a great device and never regretted purchasing it. It definitely has a few shortcomings though (hey what doesn't?). I was always a little puzzled as to the whole SD card process. It really does seem to be a lot harder than it probably ever needed to be. If we could have taken away that issue, it probably would of solved 70 - 80% of all the forum questions.

I would love for Line 6 to update it and I sure hope they do. They sent me a survey probably at least a year ago asking how the SpiderJam could be improved. I sent in my suggestions.

Why not just export as a .wav file from the SpiderJam as flimbo suggested in the beginning of the thread?

Can someone please remind me how to start the SpiderJam as a basic clean amp with no modeling or effects? I have a new pedal and I want to see how it sounds without the amp getting in the way.

A little late to the party but I love my SpiderJam as well. As with Joe, it has really helped me improve my playing since I've had it. Also, with the pedal you've purchased, I think you can do the looping functionality with your feet. I know I can on the FBV Shortboard.

Enjoy your purchase...I think you are going to have a lot of fun.
