Like I posted, it's night and day compared to the stock neck. I have the mighty mite and I absolutely love it.

Thanks for the compliment. I bought some water glide paper. You then can design to your liking and print iit out on your computer. It then takes a few coats of acrylic spray. You have to wait over night for each coat to dry. Especially the final coat. I put three coats on. It was also helpful that I had a template of the headstock. I just printed a couple copies in Draft mode on regular paper to make sure everything lined up right before I printed the final

Great job!

In my humble opinon...Almost ANYTHING is better than the stock neck. I absolutely love mine now that I put that mm strat neck on it.

Put an aftermarket maple neck on.. I did, and its awesome! Many others did as well

I've had zero problems with my jtv69. Loved everything except the neck.. I swaped that out for a mighty mite strat and now its a keeper.

The water slide paper works great. You have to spray a few coats of acrylic (letting each one dry) and then let it dry over night before touching it.

I used a headstock template to design my headstock. Print on regular paper to make sure it matches to your liking, then I printed the real deal.

I put a mighty mite on mine as well... and designed my own headstock on water slide paper. Printed from my deskjet.

Playablity is nite and day better with a strat neck. love it.
