Cannot connect Pod HD Pro with Line 6 Monkey

I am running Windows 7 64-bit and I am currently unable to get Monkey to see my Pod HD Pro. I am using a MAudio MidiMan 2x2 and I can connect to my Spider Valve MK II without a problem but not the the Pod. I am running the latest version of Monkey (v1.62) and I have the latest drivers installed (v4.2.4.5). I am ulitimately trying to connect Pod HD Pro Edit v2.21. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

The battery in my JTV-59 will run for 4 straight shows on a full charge. In between sets I unplug the guitar so that battery doesn't drain. At the end of 4 shows I am down to 2 lights. In addition I use the modeling portion of the guitar for alternate tunings and different guitar tones. I would say that equates to 1/3 of the total use. Hope this helps.

As an additional side note, if you install locking tuners, it takes only 4 minutes to string a JTV-59. Now that's luxury!!

I installed the Planet Waves Auto-Trim locking tuners on my JTV-59 and absolutely love them. You can change a set of strings in 4 minutes and they stay in tune perfectly. Neal,

I feel for you. The two hardest things to do accomplish in keeping a band together are:

Finding people that don’t have egos and just love playing music for the sake of playing music
Finding a group a people that gel together. There has to be that certain ‘gel factor’ that holds it together and makes people want to come see you perform

You get these two things accomplished and you could be well on your way to really enjoying playing music, not to mention getting to use all your really cool guitars and equipment!

I have watched the video and followed all the steps outlined here and I still can't authorize my new computer. Is Win 7 64-bit supported?

My JTV-59 became my main axe after a few slight modifications. I changed the pickups to Lindy Fralin’s and I changed the tuners to Plant Waves Auto-Trim tuners. My backup is an all original 1957 Strat. I play County music and I will tell you that the JTV does absolutely everything I need it to do. I can’t say enough about being able to change tunings and guitars on the fly. To go from an acoustic that is tuned to DADGAD to a semi hollow electric with the flick of a switch is mind blowing. And this does happen in the new Country style of music out today.

I used to own an old Variax 700 and try as hard as I could I could not get it to ‘feel’ quite right. In addition the models on the JTV are far superior than they were on the 700. Hope this helps.
