Spider valve mkII 112 sounds like a snare drum

Ive had my equipment (m13 SHORTboard and spider112 mkII for about 2 months now and it's becoming a hobby finding possibilities.. With the amp in basic mode with no mods and all the knobs turned down the speaker sounds loose, like a snare drum after I hit and individual not. It does it on the settings too (crunch is really obvious). Sounds as thought something is loose like speaker or tubes.. It's just not clear, the tones have no clarity on clean channel as well. As the rest. Do I need to take it in to a shop and will the be a charge since its still in warranty, do I need an ram number. I hear it annoying when I'm playing soft, sounds like stitc or a snare drums when I hold a chord or note,,

Also when I plug my m13 to the amp in and out to my m13 my SHORTboard doesn't work .. Why. Not , using the SHORTboard in the front of the amp I got a lot more possibilities on usage , plugging the m13 in the rear amp input NONE OF THE CONTROL KNOBS WORK ON THE SPID MKII. OR DOES THE SHORTBOARD!!!

hook your usb cable to your shortbard and connect it to your amp, i have the spider valve, should work similiar, on your computer software that came with your spider, there are tone banks, you can see them better on your computer, youll see how they are arranges and what effects are setup in each bank. drag your mouse and you can re assign your banks.

Default 4 message on fbv??

Ok I'm messing with this too much!! I plugged my m13 fx out into my spider valve 112 pOwer amp in , the out to my. M13 effects return. I also have a SHORTboard that I use and it gave me a default 4 message on the fbv screen,, what do I need to do? I am trying to get some effects to be post and others To be pre is my goal here, I set my post effects on my m13 fx3 to post so I believe all the effects in that module will be post, however my SHORTboard no longer works ( wah volume etc) and I get error on my fbv default 4. What gives?

Which is the better or proper place to plug in effects pedals ? What exactly is the power in on rear of amp for, is it for me adding my own pedals to the m13, or is it where m13 goes better with amp and how does it effect pedal sound?

Is ther one place m13 people can go to download tones like pods?? Does line 6 hate us???? Why are we left out? Where the Heck is USB for m13. This is 2012. !!,,,,, a line 6 supported tones download. What gives.

Each bank has 4 tones -a ,b ,c d, and you have 32 banks, assign you're favorite to the first 2 so you have four to choose from as it is hard to remember all 32 x 4 128 tones.

basicaaly the firmware before the update gave you three options to go to right away determined by color 3 for each effects for a total of 9 memorized effectsfor each effects nob easy to get to for each effects fx1 fx2 and fx3. now with the update they did away with this for no apparent reason and didnt notify anyone of the change. i think it was a pretty stupid move going from presets to no presets for no apparent reason, hope they correct the error soon. its a bothersome problem when you are palying with friends and have to telll everyone to stop playing your song so you can move from fuzz face to red comp a 8 minute ordeal when before you could just turn a knob in 3/5 of a second.. doesnt make any sense at all
