I see the error of my ways now! It's the only video on the mobile in page and it is showing pedals from "Garage Band"!

But, PLEASE add a distortion pedal to mobile in!

In the demo video for the mobile in device it shows a couple of pedals like the "fuzz machine" that I cannot find or find any info about. It also looks like a mike preamp that he is playing bass through but I can't find this either. Can anyone give me some info on these features?

Windows 7 and Workbench???

I could not get my variax workbench (via my PodXT Live) to work with my new laptop, so I did some reading here .I found out about the issues with Windows 7 and I have rolled back my version of JRE and just spent $90 to upgrade to Windows 7 Pro so I could run workbench in XP mode, but still workbench will not run. I keep getting a java error and then workbench freezes.

So Line 6 can you tell me?? ... In an effort to improve and upgrade my PC recording set up, have I given up the ability to customise the tunings on my Variax?

Thanks Andy,

I did everything on the link and now Pod Farm shows up with Line6 Monkey with a green check. I can start the program; however my PodXT does not show up as an otion for an input device.

At the bottom of Pod Farm I get the message "no authorized device connected. cannot process audio". Am I missing a step here?

I purchased Gear Box to use with my PodXT and Pro-Tools. It looks like Pod Farm is sort of the same. Can anyone tell me the difference between the two, and if Pod Farm is worth the money?
