So just to make sure - you're saying I should ignore the upgrade path (199) and just buy the full version (299) because the upgrade WILL still require a line 6 device?

Actually I'm planning to get rid of the UX2, but I want to keep using Pod Farm (and I wanted to get platinum anyway), so that's why I want to know if the upgrade will still be tied to Line 6 devices

I asked this on here once before but got a bunch of mixed answers and noone from Line 6 ever responded, so it would be nice if an admin could please give me an answer to this.

I bought a UX2 with the included copy of Pod Farm 2.5. I wish to upgrade to platinum. According to this http://line6.com/store/podfarm/computer my choices are to buy platinum for $299, or upgrade from standard for $199.

All I want to know is this: If I purchase the upgrade ($199), as I'm upgrading from a version tied to Line 6 hardware, will the platinum version still require Line 6 hardware, or will it be an iLok version/hardware independant version?

So this will still apply if I'm just buying the 199 dollar upgrade, its not exusive to actually buying platinum for 299? If so this is perfect, thanks heaps for the info

Really? I didn't realise the platinum version didn't need any hardware. So I can just have it installed on my computer and not need any anything to be connected to use it? Because with the standard version if I don't have my UX2 connected I can't use most of the models

Hi,

I bought a Line 6 UX2 interface with the included Pod Farm 2.5 software. When I got it, I registered the software license to the interface.

Now, a few months later I have an iLok and want to know if it's possible to register the software to that instead of the UX2 without having to buy Pod Farm again? The reason I ask is because I want to buy the Pod Farm platinum upgrade, but would prefer to have Pod Farm registered to my iLok so I don't have to take my interface around everywhere with me to use as an authorisation.

So if it's not possible to just change my registration, will it be possible to register Pod Farm platinum to my iLok when I do an upgrade? Or is the nature of the upgrade that I have to keep the lisence registered to my UX2 to be able to get the upgrade pricing?

Racking the LowDown 750?

So I have the LowDown 750watt bass head and I want to buy a roadcase for it, one that's designed for rackmountable gear.

I know the product page says it takes up 3 rack spaces but I just want to be sure before I buy a case that it doesn't take up slightly more than 3, i.e. I want to make sure that if I buy a case that fits 3 standard rack spaces, that the head isn't too big by a few centimeters.

So I'm really just asking for anyone who has racked this head before, does it fit perfectly into 3 rack spaces, or will I need 4?

Also just one other question, probably a stupid one but I guess I'll ask anyway. The head is compatible with the FBV Express, but all I can find anywhere is the FBV Express MKII, is the MKII still compatible with this head?
