There's a "pin" (for lack of better terms) that controls the pot in the footswitch.&amp;#160; Make sure that's engaged.&amp;#160; Pulling on the EX-1 rocker will sometimes cause this to come apart, rendering nothing to push the pot when the rocker is moved. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2. Check your M13 settings - the far left side of the M13 display should read "expression pedals".&amp;#160; You need to assign each FX to the jack that your footswitch is plugged in.&amp;#160; If you use Expression Pedal 1 jack, all 4 settings should be "FX#: PDL1". &lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:0013ccc3-a38c-4e9e-8d8c-109867cf8b65] --&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:20afd695-edd5-40af-a0af-0605793a2890] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;This has happened to me in the past.&amp;#160;&amp;#160; You'd be surprised what crummy power can do to electronics.&amp;#160; Try the unit in another power outlet (on a different wall) and see if it happens again.&amp;#160; If it does, take it to a friends house, and try it there. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It could be that the power is extremely dirty, or not enough voltage is being supplied.&amp;#160; If you can reproduce the problem in another location (friends house), I would have the unit serviced.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Its not the firmware upgrade, because I just upgraded mine a few days ago, too.&amp;#160; I don't have any issues. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:20afd695-edd5-40af-a0af-0605793a2890] --&gt;</description>
