Spider III Tone Controls Not Working?

I'm working on a Line 6 Spider III 15 watt amp. It came to me with a snapped off drive and treble pot. I got the parts from Line 6, after being told the pots for this version amp were different than others. I've installed them in the amp, but now the Drive and all the tone controls do not affect the sound. All the effects, master , and channel volume act normally, and the amp itself sounds fine. I've done the reset, and i'm aware of the "past 12:00" method of activating the controls. The soldering looks clean on the replacements.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Is it possible the parts may be wrong after all, or even if they were, would that cause the problem I've described?

Thanks!

Differences in Spider II III IV 412 speaker cabinets?

I'm trying to ID a used Line 6 Spider 412 cabinet I just picked up. It's in nearly new shape with no mods visible. It has the current Line 6 logo on the front of the cab, and the jack plate has 2 1/4" jacks, the left one labeled 8 ohms, the right one labeled 8 ohms above the jack and 4 ohms beneath the jack. In between the jacks it reads 150 watts per side.

I've owned Spider II 412 cabs perviously, which had the older logo and were wired strictly stereo with no mono input. I see that the current spider IV cab is rated at 320 watts, rather than the 150+150= 300 watts this cab is rated. I called Line 6 support, and was told this was a Spider I cabinet, which I didn't even know existed, as the start of the number sequence on the label was (21)C75 but it clearly isn't a I series product due to the current version of the logo. Support also told me all the Spider 412 cabs have from the very start all used the same speaker, but if so, why is this cabinet rated at 300 and the Spider IV rated at 320?

So my questions are- What are the differences in Spider I< II< III< IV cabs, if any, what version of the cabinet series do I have, and what speakers are supposed to be in it?

As far as I know, these are rated at 50 watts. Reading the manual, I see that it's 50 watts into 16 ohms. Will this amp run at 8 ohms, or perhaps at 4? I've owned a number of Line 6 amps, all of which had 8 ohm speakers in them, and was surprised to see that this one was rated at 16.

Thanks for any help provided.
