Line 6 Tech Support informed me that the new driver, 7.1.7, is certified for Mac OS 10.8. I performed all updates before upgrading to Mountain Lion and tested everything thoroughly afterwards and have no issues at this time. So in my instance, with my software and hardware, all is good. I hope this update helps all who wish to upgrade to Mountan Lion.

Mountain Lion

Ok, it's official. Apple released Mountain Lion, OS 10.8 today. Is there any word from Line 6 regarding compatibility with Mountain Lion? I looked around and found nothing so far. FYI, I'm using a TonePort UX1, GearBox 3.72 and USB Firmware 1.06. Upon updating Line 6 Monkey to 1.59 I have found my drivers need updating from 7.1.5 to 7.1.7. Under the Help & Info field, I've noticed that the new driver is signed for installation on Mac OS 10.8. I'm currently running a Mac Pro (Early 2008) and Lion OS 10.7.4 and use Garage Band 6.0.5 and Logic Express 8.0.2. Is it safe to update the drivers to 7.1.7 and then upgrade to Mountain Lion 10.8? I will wait for some feedback before I take the plunge. Thanks!

I've been holding back on the Snow Leopard upgrade until a compatible driver was released. I can now finally upgrade. I will post any issues if I encounter them. I am using the TonePort UX1 and have downloaded all the latest drivers that were posted last month - drivers 4.6.8, monkey 1.33 & gearbox 3.72. It's been a while I've been waiting to upgrade. I switch between Garage Band '08 & Logic Express 8. Are these latest updates good to go with my hardware & software combination?
