      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:350939af-8c5c-43b0-ae4d-c8412e91b06d] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Hi,&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I just set up the mic input on my POD HD desktop per the instructions on page 2-4 of the manual.&amp;#160; When I turn the small notched knob next to the XLR input on the POD, I have to turn it all the way up to get a signal.&amp;#160; Anything less whatsoever and the signal abruptly cuts out.&amp;#160; Also, I was trying to chase some distortion from my mixer, and it turns out it's coming from the POD even when I turn down the POD's volume and main pots to barely audible levels... the distortion remains.&amp;#160; Is that notched knob supposed to provide a progressive level or is it really just a weird way of rigging an on/off switch for the XLR?&amp;#160; Thanks.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:350939af-8c5c-43b0-ae4d-c8412e91b06d] --&gt;</description>
