Hi,

I just set up the mic input on my POD HD desktop per the instructions on page 2-4 of the manual. When I turn the small notched knob next to the XLR input on the POD, I have to turn it all the way up to get a signal. Anything less whatsoever and the signal abruptly cuts out. Also, I was trying to chase some distortion from my mixer, and it turns out it's coming from the POD even when I turn down the POD's volume and main pots to barely audible levels... the distortion remains. Is that notched knob supposed to provide a progressive level or is it really just a weird way of rigging an on/off switch for the XLR? Thanks.

Thanks, Don. The problem wasn't the ethernet cable. What seems to be happening is that when I have the MKII Express plugged into the computer with the USB cable for MIDI functionality, it overrides the connection to the POD. In other words, when I unplug the USB cable from the floorboard, its LEDs light up and it controls the POD fine. But when I plug the USB cable back into the floorboard, its LED screen goes black and it won't talk to the POD. Any ideas on how to keep the USB cable plugged into the floorboard and maintain POD control functionality?

Pod HD not seeing MKII Express

Hi,

A noob here. On my POD HD's Settings page#2, I found the FBV Express setting and turned it on, but none of the preset tones with Wah pedals in their chain are affected (i.e., they don't make a wah sound) when I rock the pedal. I made sure to press hard on the toe switch to turn the pedal to Wah instead of volume. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks to anyone who might be able to help.

Hi,

A noob here. I have done everything I know how to do, but I can't get my MKII Express to control any of the Pod HD presets. It's plugged in properly to the Pod HD, and I've installed FBV Control on my computer. Anyone have a basic noob troubleshooting checklist I could run through for this? Thanks.
