. Where in the menu do I set the inputs? In HD Edit or physically on the HD 500? Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone. Thanks for all the tips/tricks and of cours Meam for his tone guide and posts. Well took a swing at my bands new record. We tracked the drums in a studio, I took the stems home, mixed them (the best a non drummer could )and tracked all the guitar parts. No bass yet as my bass players comes over next week but wanted to share. Not mastered or anything yet. But curious on your thoughts and opinions on it. It was such a brezze using the HD 500 compared to our last record done all with mic's and heads. I am HORRIBLE at mic placement so the whole thing sounds dull. Hope you like it (Pleas be gentle )

Hey everyone. I am so paranoid of writing over my main recording patch I worked on for rhythm guitars. How do I copy and paste it to double it or triple it as I might tweak it and want copies of it in other banks?

I am Mac OSX and I tried the control+C to copy and Control+V to paste but nothing seems to work

Also anyway how I can save it to my hard drive?

4 Cable Method and a Mesa Mark V or Dual Recto

Hi everyone. Hope all is well.

I know the 4 cable method has been talked about at lengths on here. But can anyoneexplain from outside the basic 4 cable connection, what parameters need to be set on the HD500 and Mesa? I have tried to set it up through the four cable method but my results where horrible. Sound was terrible. I need a better understanding of how to best set up FX in the chain...............Meaning where the Send/Return go....what other things need to be berfore and after......what levels need to be set up on the HD500 AND Mesa FX level....volume levels on both etc.

Please help!! I really want to do this

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes I had the FX loop engaged. Raised and lowered the FX level loop and still channel 2 and 3 have no sound

Anybody use the 4 cable method with an amp close to it? I really wanna try the 4C method, just dunno why it makes the 2 channels go out.
