It's gonna be a boat. 'See' is a play on words when they actually meant 'sea' and it will represent a definite 'change' for the company. It will most definately be "the most significant product announcement in the history of the company" as stated by MusicRadar. I'm eagerly waiting to get my shiny new Line 6 boat so I can set sail on the open sea! I know this for certain because my friends aunts cats brothers neighbor, who knows a guy that knows Kevin Bacon told me so.

Everything I'm about to say is pure speculation and my own personal opinion.... I could be right and I could be waaaay off base. I guess I'll find out when everyone does on 1/19.

Line 6 recently updated their Pod HD 500/Pro software to version 1.4 which includes a host of new MIDI options so this seems to point to what they may be doing. I'm thinking it may be a higher end MIDI foot controller. One that can be used on any MIDI gear and is not made, necessarily, to specifically interact with only other Line 6 equipment. It will, of course have easy and full integration with Line 6 gear but the main goal for L6 will be to have it become THE industry standard for a MIDI pedal board. In my opinion it will be similar in size/features as the Fractal MFC-101. This would allow it, on a larger pedalboard like the Pedaltrain Pro, to sit right beside their M13 or beside other misc pedals. I'm hoping, if I am right, that they will also come out with expansion options for it as well...

The 'See' part of their 'See. Change. 1.19.12' campaign implies that it will be very visually stimulating or provide visual feedback. The 'Change' part implies that it can be used to change things (settings?) or will be a game changer. It could also represent a change in the way that L6 is doing things or a change in their direction.

My second guess would be an iPhone/iPad product of some sort.

Full disclosure: I know that Line 6 is a company that everyone loves to hate. I've been a fan and have used their products ever since the Axsys 212. No, I do not work for Line 6 and I do not know anyone that works for Line 6. I'm just a technology geek.

Thanks for the response though the only time that I connected via USB was to try and change the setting on the FBV. When playing normally there are no USB connections. I should have been more clear on that. I've got the FBV connected to the Pod HD Pro via ethernet. The M13 is connected to the effects loop and using midi. The midi out on the Pod HD Pro is connected to the midi in of the M13.

Hi all, this may seem obvious but I wnated to make sure....

Do the "Guitar In-Z" settings control the line in on the rear of the Pod HD Rack when Input 1 Source is set to Line L or does it only control the "Guitar" input on the front of the rack? I'm using a Relay G90 as my wireless and have it connected to the "Line L" on the rear of the rack.

Hey guys, I have a Pod HD Pro and am using the FBV Shortboard MKII to control it. Because of very limited floor space on the stage I've got it set so that foot switches 5-8 control an M13 that I have to keep in the rack. I've tried everything I know but can't get the lights on the A, B, C, and D switches to toggle on and off so that I can see when the effects are activated/deactivated on the FBV Shortboard. Any suggestions?

How it is set currently:

1. Pod HD Rack - Set the footswitches to "toggle" mode:

A. Hold down the "MOVE" button

B. Move to FS5, FS6, FS7, and FS8

C. Midi CH:02

D. Message: CC Toggle

E. CC #:011, 014, 017, and 020 - to corrospond with turning on/off effect "A" in banks 1-4 on the M13

F. Value: 000

2. M13

A. Hold down the "Looper Controls Footswitch" to enter "Setup" mode

B. Set MIDI Channel to "2"

C. Exit out of "Setup" mode

3. FBV Shortboard MKII

A. Diconnect from POD HD Pro and Connect to computer using USB

B. Open FBV Control Software

C. Set Footswitches A, B, C, and D to:

i. Midi CC

ii. Values "011", "014", "017", and "020" respectively

iii. Midi Channel "2"

iv. Swithch Mode "Toggle"

Using this setup the FBV will toggle the effects on the M13 but I dont have any visual feedback on the FBV that lets me know if the corrosponding effect is on or off. The rack stays pretty far away so it's not really possible to just glance back and look....

I've got the Pod HD Pro and these are some things that I've noticed that would be great to have....

Automatically detect if anything is plugged into/disconnected from the FX Loop - engages/disengages FX Loop (if an FX Loop block is in that particular patch). For those that do a number of gigs and bring/leave different FX based on the location/needs. It becomes extremely tedious to go through every patch

and disable the FX Block when I dont bring any other gear)

Global Gate like on M13

Option for Global Volume - trails enabled

Dedicated, moveable FX Loop block (doesn't use a regular FX block, similar to the looper block)

Screen will change colors to match the Relay G90 color options ( I know this one is probably a hardware request, not a firmware update)

FX footswitch assignments for FBV shortboard MKII automatically set to the type of effect (Stomp, Modulation, Delay, Reverb, Volume, Wah)

FBV Shortboard MKII ability to do Wah/Volume with built in pedal AND use an attached pedal for FX parameters (I'm unsure if this would be an FBV firmware update, hardware issue, or Pod HD update)

More amp models/FX/cabs/preamp - I know everyone requests this. I'd love to see more original Line 6 exclusive amps (clean, crunch and dirty), something that no-one else has and something that isn't a digital version of an existing amp. Eventually every company will have each made their own vesions of all the major amps out there anyway, I'd love to see something that has never been available before.

DT50 Head into DT25 Cab or vice versa...

HELP!!!

I am looking at purchasing a DT25 or DT50 head and the DT25 cab. I love the portability of the DT25 but I do wonder if it is enough for larger venues (I play in a decent sized church). I want to make sure I have great tone and coverage in the church but I also only play about once per month their so the majority of my playing is in my bedroom. Could I either buy the DT25 head and use it on both the DT25 cab at home and the 4x12 that they have at the church, or buy the DT50 head and use it on the DT25 cab at home and the 4x12 at the church?

I don't want to risk blowing the DT25 cab with the DT50 head, and I also dont want to risk underpowering the 4x12 with the DT25 Head. Either way, I wont be purchasing a 4x12 cab (DT50 cab) but I will be buying one head or the other.....

I've never owned a tube amp before and have always just used Line 6 Pods for tone. I currently have the HD and the M13 and love their products!

HD500 Customtone patches not working on HD Pro

Does anyone know why the HD3/4/500 patches won't work on the HD Pro or how to get them to work? Even on Customtone.com when you click the "show compatible" box, nothing comes up. I tried downloading some of the HD500 patches but they won't import....
