Hi, I was wondering if I can power up my bass using any other thing than batteries (it eats them in less than 5 min, I mean the square ones).

And for some reason, there are no connectors to put the 6 AA batteries, there is the space, but no connectors (I was given it

that way).

They also didn't give me the XPS-DI unit, and I don't have a Line 6 pedal board and don't plan on buying one.

Is there an alternative for the XPS-DI unit? As I don't see them sell it anywhere on this planet?

I know it "phantom" powers the bass with 9 v 2000 ma, but I'm not an electrician.

Thank you very much if you can give me an answer, I am desperate (if I can't use it, then I guess it will be fodder for the bonfire).

Not that I plan on buying/importing this, but would this power up my bass?
