Just adding my voice to the annoyed.

I've been following this thread (http://line6.com/support/thread/86555) as my issue is more to do with the UX1 killing all USB devices plugged in at the time it flakes out. Either way, the product is useless at the moment.

Well I raised a ticket with Line6, and after one initial reply to update my software (it's up to date), nothing since and all the ticket says is "this is assumed answered, reply to this ticket to keep it open" or some such. The problem is, replying to it does nothing. It's just going to auto close I assume (which is ridiculous) so I'll just have to keep creating tickets pointing to the original one.

Really seems they don't give a damn about their products

Well, someone mentioned that if you plug the device in through a USB2.0 hub, that allows it to work. Unfortunately that doesn't work either. Still drops all USB devices from the Mac.

joansto, that's great that you've found a solution, and I understand it'd be lovely to want to be paid for that (not sure how realistic it is however), but it'd be nice if you could share it with the wider community so we don't all have useless products sitting on our desks.

Same problem here. UX1, new late 2012 Mac Mini, Mountain Lion.

Same problem here. I've actually only had the UX1 for a couple of months as I originally was using it on a PC. I've just today moved over to a Mac and run straight into this USB disabling bug.

Uncool. How about some sort of acknowledgement from Line6? The silence is deafening.
