Hi Folks,

Interesting question here. Can I connect the balanced output’s (XLR) to a desk that is providing Phantom power? Will phantom power delivered to the balanced outputs damage my POD in any way?

Hi was reading through the forum and saw this thread.

I just received my jtv59 and have the same issue with my low E. if I play the open E and let it ring out I get this type of sitar overtone. This is without the guitar plugged in. Driving my nuts.

Have tracked it down to the nut. If I place finger on where the string sits on the nut the issue goes away. Not sure exactly what's happening there but it's definately affecting the modelling.

Thoughts?

Hi Folks,

Sitting here this morning over a coffee while watching the DHL status page and waiting for my JTV-59 (BK). Looks like it will be monday though.

Anyways just a quick thought. I will be running my JTV through the HD500 into an Atomic Reactor FRFR active cab. For the acoustic models what would you sugesst as a amp setup for the POD? would you go with no amp and just use the new Valve preamp model and some EQ etc?

curious to hear your thoughts,

I picked up an Atomic Reactor FR cab - 50watt tube power amp. Has XLR thru and a seperate tweeter attenuater. have found it to be a perfect setup. i can now swap out between electric and acoustic. Extremely punchy. Works a treat

I have the exact same issue.... luckily it decreases when i hit the rehearsal studio.

I have ordered a power conditioner off amazon. waiting for it to arrive, will let you know if it makes any difference. Also interested to find out whether aor not an earthed transformer would make a difference. Not sure why the Line 6 transformer is not.
