Can I connect the balanced output’s (XLR) to a desk that is providing Phantom power? Will phantom power delivered to the balanced outputs damage my POD in any way?

Thanks

Gareth

Hi was reading through the forum and saw this thread.

I just received my jtv59 and have the same issue with my low E. if I play the open E and let it ring out I get this type of sitar overtone. This is without the guitar plugged in. Driving my nuts.

Have tracked it down to the nut. If I place finger on where the string sits on the nut the issue goes away. Not sure exactly what's happening there but it's definately affecting the modelling.

Thoughts?

Looks like it will be monday though.

Anyways just a quick thought. I will be running my JTV through the HD500 into an Atomic Reactor FRFR active cab. For the acoustic models what would you sugesst as a amp setup for the POD? would you go with no amp and just use the new Valve preamp model and some EQ etc?

curious to hear your thoughts,

cheers Gareth
