Pod Pro & Line 6 Edit via midi.

I've used my USB to MIDI connector on my HD147 before, now I'm trying it with my POD PRO, the old rackmount. I cannot get any communication via midi. I get error code 800090001, Could not find specified mdi device. It doesn't allow me to specify midi port. When I click on the drop down button nothing happens.

Running Macbook Pro 10.6.6

To go further, the Line 6 can be controlled by any midi footswitch? Say the DigiTech Control 2?

I'm trying to find the best way to connect my X3 pro and my Rivera KR100 using the FX loop and midi so I can use my FBV to control the channels on the Rivera.

Any help is great. I've tried multiple methods, but it just doesn't sound right, or the midi won't work consistently.

Is there going to be a new Vetta, or something else, or are you completely discontinuing the Vetta line?
