Hi any of you experts live in Switzerland. I would like to spend a few hours going through my set up with someone at hand to correct and advise .

Thanks for posting this. I already us a JTV 59 variax with VDI cabel, so what do I set channel 2 to if I have ch+ set to variax.

It works but only when I have the tuning know on the guitar tuned down half a tone, do I have to set it to locked or something like that.

I really need advise in the most simple language ( Im not a tech guy) how can I get the pod 500 to controll my JTV 59 on a preset by preset basis. I mean change tunings,,,modles..magnetic pick ups. I would like one acoustic patch with half tone down. An electric preset also half tone down, with modled electric. And one preset with mag pick up from the jtv

Im begining to slowly sort out what I need to know, this information would be a hughe help.

JTV 59 update and pod 500

Hi.

I want to use different set ups.

1. Preset for jtv59 using accoustic model. What do I set the output to, Variax ? and which output channel do I use.

2. Another preset using electric modles, sam as above.. will the pod select the model automatically without me having to change the setting on the guitar.

3, preset using the mag pic up from the jtv. Will the preset automatically select the mag pickups .

I am a complete novice so forgive me.

There is no amp model in the preset. Very muddy sound though, lots of mid and bass ring . I am new to this, but Im a professional musician, so I guess Im not imagining these issues, but I could be doing something wrong for sure.

How do you download it on to the pod 500, and where do I look for it on the pod, or do I download it on to the JTV59.

I`d like to add I dont think the accoustic settings like to be strummed. Everything clouds up, and latency issues kick in especiall in the dropped tunings. Im becoming very dissapointed.
