Well, I'm done here. I guess I'll check back some day to see if they've ever fixed the problem but I'm now using an Apogee JAM. It's smaller and sounds even better somehow. Clearer, I guess, is the word I'd use. Good luck everyone!

I ended up buying an Apogee JAM interface. Much smaller than the UX1, and it works great for the MAC/iPad/iPhone- all of it. Sounds better somehow too.

Everyone- never mind this d-bag, and don't let him get your hopes up. Despite what this a@#HOLE says, there IS NO WORKAROUND that will make the current Line6 Mountain Lion 10.8 driver work with Mountain Lion 10.8.2

Scroll down to the third available patch download, and it says "fixes blah blah blah Mountain Lion 10.8" so I thought "Right on! I can now go ahead and buy Mountain Lion". WRONG!

By the way, I just want to add that the very first thing I did when I heard Mountain Lion was available for my iMac was to go to 1) Amplitube 2) Line 6 to see if they were ready for it before I upgraded. Line 6 website said (and still does say!) that there were no compatibility issues with Mountain Lion. This is a LIE. It may not have been when they first put it out there, or they may have been mistaken, but to keep it on the f*#king website is unconscionable and serves only to anger more and more people every day.

Exactly right. They're being entirely too secretive about what the f*#k is going on and it's pointless, really, because we all know. They should have a note explaining the situation right on their homepage. They've lost me as a customer for good.
