Hi,

Just bought a second hand guitarport and riffworks cd (with guitarport)

The software will not install, simply crashes after accepting the user agreement, im running windows 7.

Is there a way round this to get rifftracker installed? rifftracker is the reason i bought it really.

hope i havent wasted my money :-(

Thanks for the reply, why when i open it in standalone do i have all these usefull features like mixer/tuner/imput selection i.e instrument or mic, but when used as a plug in these functions are not available? its backwards it should be the other way round, whats the use of having them in standalone and not in record mode? pointless.

Ive ran it in standalone already and still nothing, unless i plug the guitar lead into the kb37 then i get a guitar signal , but i want a mic signal not a guitar signal. In the standalone version you can choose the imput which makes sense, but not in the plug in version, its a cut down version of the standalone, should be other way round, i dont know what to do

Hi,

Im using a toneport kb37 all drivers updated and podfarm plug in, daw is mixcraft 4 and the mic is a samson c03.

Once all is connected and the phantom power is on, the mic lights up so all seems fine, but i cant get a signal for some reason.

I think its something to to with podfarm and routing the correct path, maybe its set to instruments because when i put the guitar lead into toneport i get a signal as usual, but when i take the lead out...nothing, how do i set the path to vocals? i looked on podram but theres no function to choose vocals as the imput?

im sure its a simple solution and would really appreciate anyones expertise

Help needed on getting a signal to record, using kb37 but no signal when mic is tapped, using podfarm plug in, any ideas?

Hi,

im using pro 8 and usually use guitar rig 3 without issue but saw line 6 and was impressed.

I m guessing it crashed for some plug in related reason, what i dont know and i hope once i buy the plug in licence it wont happen again.

Am i right in thinking i can download the latest podfarm update then just click buy add on in monkey in order to use as a plug in, Because in logic when i insert new audio track and look for the plug in, podfarm doesnt show up, but gear box does.. Will it show up once i purchase and activate?

i spoke with tech support, and you gotta buy podfarm plug in seperetley, once u get a licence code use that to activate it, then your good to go

Hi,

im using a kb37 old model 3 years old and am using the gearbox/podfarm they are the same thing by the way, that came with the kb37 (i upgragded to podfarm) it diddnt come with the kb37 obviously it wasnt released then. i now know that i have to by the plug in for pod farm to work in logic, i thought the version i had was plug in but its standalone only, so i have to buy the plug in licence then activate it then i should be good to go.

hi,

im using logic with a new imac and a toneport kb37, i installed the gearbox software that came with it and it works in stand alone but not in my DAW. it just pops up but you cant hear the soundand it says click to activate, strange caus ive already registered it, I also downloaded the latest update that was podfarm and looked forward to using it but when i try and add the plug in, its not there only gear box is, and it wont run it it just crashes logic. can you help me?
