Yeah had thought of that after all its only a 3 way switch...... Just with loads of line6 goodness attached

Hi all some time ago my awesome jtv-59 developed a slight switch problem, it had a crackle when you switched between the pickups, not a major problem at the time and as I was using it every gig I couldn't spare the 2 weeks plus without the guitar .....

My questions are:

1-can I get a replacement switch from anyone else?

2-I got the guitar from a local line 6 reseller, what happens if I go to them with the fault? Will they just send it back to line6, will I have to pay the transit cost?

3-the switch should be covered as my guitar is only 6 months old?

4-can line6 send me a replacement switch and can I fit it, it's not that hard.... Without losing my remainder guarantee

Hi the realZap thanks for that, contacted them this morning and......

i need to return my guitar, 14 days + to replace the switch.... WHAT.... its a switch, a 10 min job at best

they can send me a switch but it voids the guarantee if i replace it.......just great

i cant be without my guitar for 14 days + its now my main instrument, yeah i have spares but they dont have all the line 6 goodness in them.....

Hi i seem to have an issue with my JTV-59, the switch is crackling its serial is: W110400196 can a new switch be sent to me?

cant live without the guitar its my main tool..

Hi i get the same, i have to re run the software until it connects, if i change the model its takes a good while to sync, once thats done i seem to be ok,

bit of a pain in the bum :-(

Pickup switch noise

Hi i have just noticed my pickup selector switch on my JTV-59 crackles when i change switch position....anyone else have this issues?

i use the VDI and standard jack ate different times and its the same on both outputs

firmwares is up to date

love the guitar its mint :-)

Hi all, well a couple of days in with the JTV-59, what an awesome guitar.....

neck is great, sounds awesome, all firmware updates done :-)

working on acoustic sounds etc love the tele and strat sounds only real shame (i thought) was that i cant coil tap the mag pickups, then i kicked myself, DOH!

LOL

my poor musicman axis is in its case at the moment :-(

Thanks everyone, got a black JTV-59 yesterday, sounds great, looks awesome, play's very nice, the neck is not what im used to but i don't see it being an issue, loved the initial acoustic sounds (that's why i got it) looking forward to plugging it in to the HD500 and having a good long session on it.

is it wrong to feel guilt as i put my axis in its case ...... LOL

awesome, thanks for that, you hear so many bad tales, i have a musicman axis i use at the moment via the hd500 and its great, the addition of the JTV-59 would i think make a great guitar setup
