I thought that It did 24 bit at 96000 but the driver will only let me get as high as 48000 in the ASIO control panel.       <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:cbb3dbd0-1fe4-4fa6-9c0a-f322f0e2b3f5] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;I had the same problem when I first got my JTV and went through all the steps to solve it that other posters have given here only to find out I had a bad VDI cable (it was a brand new cable).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;One way to check that is take the cable that came with your JTV that plugs into the USB converter. It's the same kind of cable (cat5) without the metal casing one end and plug it in and see if you get sound. Also make sure your volume is up enough that you aren't hearing the natural string tone. My neck was smooth too and I really like the satin finish. All my guitars had been laquer finishes on the neck so I wasn't really sure how I would like the finish but I found I prefer it to the laquer. I got mine about 4 weeks sooner than my dealer anticipated.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;JTV-69 CAR and I love the thing.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As for people bemoaning the headstock that's just a matter of taste.
