USB stops working - POD xt & Mac OS X ML

Hello guys,

I've got some problems with POD xt (desktop) when it’s connected to my MacBook Air 2012 (with USB 3.0 - not sure if it matters). When I connect the device, turn it on and then change audio output to 'POD xt', it works fine for a while. But after a few secs/mins it stops playing any sounds (from the computer) and any other device connected via USB doesn't work. The same situation happens when I change global audio output for default (internal speakers) and then back to 'POD xt'.

I tried to connect POD to both USB ports - alone, with USB mouse, with USB external drive - but it always stops working when I connect POD and turn it on. When it breaks down USBs ports are 'dead' till machine restart. In system logs console I can find two related entries:

30.09.2012 18:28:09,000 kernel[0]: vtd[0] fault: device 0:20:0 reason 0x6 R:0x23a000

30.09.2012 18:28:09,000 kernel[0]: USBF: 261.883 AppleUSBXHCI[0xffffff80d52af000]::UIMRootHubStatusChange - HSE bit set:5 (1)

I've tried to reinstall drivers, used the latest version (7.1.9), used the previous version (7.1.7), I've reflashed PODxt device firmware (in Line6 Monkey: USB firmware and Flash memory), and even tried to reset MacBook's PRAM and SMC - without any result.

Has anyone had similar problems? Did anyone manage to solve this problem.
