You are thinking right.

There is no way to connect something to Channels 19-20.

You can only use 18 Channels to connect some analog input Signals.

you can also use a monitor chanel for output the media player, and wire then the monitor output to an input that you can record.

And yes it seems like it is a M18d mixer. I'm thinking the same.

If you press the headphone Button of an Input, that is assigned also to Right, do you than hear the R on headphone?

and if you make a stereo (Paired) Input, an play something, you can see in the Performe Screen at the bottom at this Input 2 Lines showing the Level of R and L, what can you see there?

(Maybe you can find out this way if there is realy no setup error)

Yes, the Play/Stop works also with a Footswitch. But be prudent: if you Stop while the last song is playing, and then Start, the last Song will play from beginning.

I don't have a answer to your Question.

But meanwhile i would try the following workaround:

make a long Song which is silent, an place it between each of your backing tracks.

while performing, after one Song with backing it is silent, beacuse of the silent Track.

If you want to go on with your next track, you just need to klick (possible with a Footswitch) next Track.

The only risk is, if you make a longer pause as the silent Track, you need to press Stop.

Do NOT connect the L6 LINK OUT to a standard active speaker or simmilar analog device (Amplifier). The L6 Link is a digital signal!

I suppose, that the main out can not be use as mono.

Try to use a Monitor out, if you want to use only one speaker, because the monitor out is mono. (with Firmware Version 1.1 you can make monitor as stereo, but in your case you don't want to)

The routing is like it is shown in the Tweak mode.

This starts with Input. FX and Monitor is at the end.

About Sorting I dont have a Answer at the Moment.

But the name of the last loaded Setup is marked as "last loaded" in the list if you go to Setup and then tab on the left tob on Setup. In this menu you normaly save or load your Setups. And there ist a list of Setups, and I can finde there the text "last loaded"

I think this is the same for scenes if you are in the Performe mode.

Hi,

i'm using the m20d also with different rca's as input (with 1/4-inch Adapter). I just use then the standard configuration Line oder choose the Icon Submixer or PC for Preset (you can then Change only the Icon to what you Like without changing the Preset). I don't have any Problems with this. You can add any FX or other Stuff from the DSP, but i don't really need this, because this rca/Line Inputs are complete Music signals like a CD. So i just use the M20d to mix the Levels of the different Inputs. Additional you can use the Microphones with all of the Functionality.

so far so good.

But what i think you can miss as a DJ is first of all a Cross Fader if you need this.

And for my point of view the Encoder knobs ar not so comfortable to use like Faders you can move up and down. So if you want to fade out one Input and at the same time Fade in another Input, you need two Hands an have to turn, turn, turn the knobs. I mean you have to turn more than 360° untill the Level is down or up.

Or if you want to Talk over some playing music, you have to turne down the Level of the playing music and after Talking, you have to turn it up. Akain, with Fader i think this is much easyer. But the Group Funktion is great to Group all inputs of music, so you can turn always the same Knop, independent which input is playing at the moment, all inputs will be changed corresponding to the Group Knob.

I don't have the line6 Speakers. I just conectet the m20d Main out to my existing PA/Speakers. No Problem!

But why can't i use the powerfull DSP of the M20d tho have a 32 Band EQ on the Main Out for a conventional Speaker system which have no build in EQ?
