I wonder if anyone has considered installing a 15" speaker in a 112. Are there even 15" speakers available with the correct impedence?

I wrote an app to configure the amp, and I can tell you that the text in the last link is encouraging.

You need to be able to send specific MIDI Control Change Commands as specified in this Line 6 doc:

Although it sounds very promising, I wouldn't be sure until I read a manual that described the method to store (and a method to send) each command.

Yes, I know.

Attenuators don't kill amps, people kill amps.

But, if fewer people owned attenuators, then fewer people would drive their amps into bad neighborhoods.

Sure, if good people aren't allowed to use attenuators properly, then only criminals would use attenuators. And, they would do bad things to innocent amps.

Surely, we can all agree that even one dead amp is unacceptable. So, put away your attenuator, and only drive your amp to 7. Your amp will thank you.

I just got my amp back. I guess changing/modifying the fuse was a very simple fix.

The service shop didn't even look at it for over two weeks. Then, they had to order the fuse.

They fixed it in an hour after they received the part.

It sounds as good as ever. But, I never had problems with the amp.

I don't use an attenuator.

Yes, I have used an iRig Midi interface (with my iPhone and iPad) to configure my DT50 112.

Sorry for the delayed response...

The short answer is, as long as the iOS app is connected to the amp, the "eq" settings will be sent when you switch channels.

The longer answer is that as long as you are working with a saved setting file (i.e. you have loaded a previously saved setting file, or you have saved your current settings to a file), the "eq" settings will be sent when you switch channels.

When the app is first loaded (and no settings file has been loaded ort saved) settings will not be setn to the amp when the channel changes. This is to prevent unintentional stomping of amp settings.
